Design That Solves Problems for the World’s Poor
The New York Times ran an article today on the exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York that features inventions designed to help the world's poor move out of poverty. I think I'd like more relational aesthetic projects if they were more like this one. Not that I completely hate Andrea Zittel's shelters, but couldn't they be a little more useful?
